Tributo al Dolores Olmedo

My painting 1/2 from the art course I attended from March to June. I learned a lot of things about art history, landscapes and met with my old friends. I had a lot of great time on the open air, it's very rare for me to actually work outside.
This was painted on the gardens of the museum Dolores Olmedo. I have a very special connection to this place, so I decided to make a tribute to it and it's avian and canine inhabitants. If you ever come to Mexico you can't miss it.

The paper got very dirty due to the lack of planning (I usually draw a sketch on the computer before I paint something in traditional media) and the actual peacocks jumping on the trees over me. I had to edit it to clean it up a bit, that, and it's a photograph because it was too big for the scanner XD. It was presented on exhibition past Saturday along with the other student's paintings. I was so happy, this one got specially popular with children >w<
